Adding Meta Description/Mata Tags to Blogger

Meta tags have significant values in our blog on page SEO process. This tags are making your blogger blog more SEO, search engines and social media friendly. It is for sure that helping the crawlers will be helping your ranking in search result.If you properly write a meta descrption, the chances of your post will be in top of the search result and more visitors will come to your blog.
Now go with me step-by-step how to add Meta Description to your Blogger/blog.

1. Enable Meta Tags and Adding Meta Description

1. Login to your Blogger Dashboard >> go to settings >>  Search refferences

2. Go to Meta Tags >> Description>> Edit and write the description tha describe about your blog.

3. Click on Save change

2. Inser Description in every post/page

1. Go to New page/post and create a new post 

2. Go to Post settings>> Search Description 

3. Write a brief description about your post/page in search description box

4. Click done

3. Adding Meta Description to HTML Source Code of Blogger Template

If your Meta Description not show, you have to add Meta Tags to source code of Blogger's Template. To do this follow the step bellow:

1. Go to your Blogger Dashboard >> Template >> Edit HTML>> Press "Ctrl +F" to open the search box and insert the </head> tags, hit Enter to find it.

2. Just bellow </head> and past the following tags:

<meta expr:content='data:blog.metaDescription' name='description'/> 
</b:if>

3. Click Save Template
